You found me sitting by the lake, clearing my head after a hard day’s work. I didn’t notice you at first, being so wrapped up in my thoughts as I was. Suddenly you were just there, sitting next to me and saying my name. My eyes jerked open to take in your beautiful presence. You laughed, for some reason unknown to me, so I just sat and waited. When you were done, I asked why you were so cheerful. You smiled a little half smile that made my heart beat quicken and replied ‘I have made a revelation’.
I couldn’t think of what to say, so instead I raised one eyebrow slightly. You laughed again and said, in a quiet voice ‘I’ve finally figured out why you’ve been acting funny.’ I struggled to keep a blush back, and the only word I could form was ‘Oh…’ After a moment, I got my ability to form complete sentences back and asked ‘Well, why am I acting funny, pray tell?’ Your eyes, which had been watching me, changed in a way I couldn’t explain and you said ‘You’re in love.’ Your eyes laughed at me as the blush I’d been trying to hold back stained my cheeks red.
I stuttered for a minuet before you placed a warm, calloused hand over my mouth. I stilled, and you took it away. ‘Now,’ you said gently. ‘May I ask who you are infatuated with?’ I looked down at my hands, desperate to tell you but afraid of rejection. ‘If you want,’ I said, shrugging slightly to make it seem as if it was no big deal. Truthfully, it was a huge deal to me but I didn’t want you to know, to see how nervous I was over a simple question. You grinned a knowing grin and asked ‘Who do you love?’ Gathering what little composure I had left, I looked straight up into your eyes and answered ‘You.’
You didn’t jump up and walk away, you didn’t look horrified, you didn’t even look surprised. You looked… happy. ‘Just making sure,’ you said in this husky voice that made gooseflesh ripple up and down my arms. Before I could process this information, your lips pressed against my own, warmth rushing through my body at your touch. When you pulled away, I whispered ‘I guess this means you feel the same way?’ In answer, your lips covered mine once more.

Hitchups: Followed
Followed
Hiccup preferred to stay above the clouds when flying by night, especially on nights when they collected to form a solid blanket covering the world. Above the clouds he could see fairly well, for even dark clouds would reflect and enhance the light from the moon and the stars, giving his pitiful, human eyes a reading on his surroundings.
But below a starless overcast, with nothing but black waters and sightless skies surrounding him, Hiccup was left visually numbed. He felt like he was moving through a cold, black whirlwind. It simply wasn't a situation he enjoyed being in.
And yet, here they werethe moon just passing the ap

Chapter 2: Axed
Hiccup leaned his back against Toothless, curling into the body heat and allowing the sounds of his surroundings to soothe his uneasy mind. Crickets, owl hoots, and the occasional wolf-howl played a vibrato to the background noise of Highland winds and popping kindle. The moderate fire he constructed flickered sharply against the blue-black setting, further augmenting the hypnotic effect.

I like the way it is written...fantastic. Too bad it's too out of character to be Wyldon....*sadface*
